  2. Thanks for taking the time to try Kyodai Mahjongg !

  4. This new version features a layout editor, a 2-player variation
  5. and a new game (Mahjongg Rivers).

  7. After having installed it, you'll have a Kyodai directory where
  8. you can find these files :
  9.  
  10. ------ on the WinZip self extractor version, KYODAI.EXE
  11.  
  12. KYODAI3M.EXE    : "Silent" Kyodai Mahjongg, without sound effects
  13.           and music. This version is provided mostly for full
  14.           compatibility with Windows 3.1.
  15.  
  16. ------ on the InstallShield version, KYODAI.ZIP
  17.  
  18. KYODAI3.EXE    : Kyodai Mahjongg, with music but no sound effects
  19.           (if you don't have or don't want to use Direct-X)
  20.  
  21. KYODAI3DX.EXE    : Kyodai Mahjongg, with sound effects & music
  22.           You must have Direct-X installed on your computer to
  23.           launch it -- http://www.microsoft.com/directx
  24.           (KYODAI3DX.EXE is not available in the small
  25.            KYODAI.EXE package intended for Windows 3.1)

  27. FERRAL.MID    : Music files, composed by Tanguy Matioszek for Kyodai.
  28. GOKURAKU.MID      You can run them individually by double-clicking
  29. KYODAI.MID      on them from the Explorer.

  34. KYODAI.RTF    : The main Help file, as shown inside Kyodai.
  35.           (you can also read it by simply double-clicking
  36.            on the file in the Explorer)

  38. PYRAMID.LAY    : Three layout files made in less than 2 minutes to
  39. WHATEVER.LAY      show you the potential of the layout editor
  40. WELL2.LAY

  42. HOF.BMP        : Hall of Fame panel image file. Don't touch it.

  44. KANJI.BMP    : Main background files. Don't touch them.
  45. DRAGONS.BMP
  46.  
  47. PAI.BMP        : Main tileset files. You can use PAI.BMP as a
  48. DARKPAI.BMP      template to create new tilesets !
  49.  
  50. ORIENTAL.BMP    : Example theme file. It can also be used as a
  51.           template for other themes.
